Job summary

Charlie’s Produce in Oregon seeks an experienced driver to shuttle produce between Bend and Clackamas. This is not a delivery position.

You will load and unload with an electric pallet jack, maintain safety and quality, and support a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.

All offers are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening, and a road test. We provide medical/dental/vision benefits, ESOP and a 401(k), paid vacations and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL + Doubles Endorsement and medical card.
• Read and understand English per DOT requirements.
• Satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from trailer using an electric pallet jack.
• Maintain a safe, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
• Promote teamwork and flexibility with colleagues.
• Ensure professional, safe equipment is used; adhere to safety policies.
• Deliver pallets to dock or with lift gate when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Role: You will be primarily responsible for shuttling produce from Bend to Clackamas and back to Bend. This is not a delivery position.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To:

• Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues
• Professionally maintained, reliable and safe equipment
• Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate
• All other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Be 23 yrs. or older
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
• Valid Class A CDL + Doubles Endorsementand medical card
• Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English
• Satisfactory driving record
