Job summary

Charlie’s Produce is seeking a full-time yard truck operator in Seattle. You will move trailers at our SODO warehouses and communicate with supervisors via radio to coordinate trailer moves.

Requires a valid Class A CDL and medical card, 1+ year driving experience preferred, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. This role supports a fast-paced team with a focus on safety and reliability; weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older due to insurance requirements.
• 1+ year of driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card.
• Able to read and understand English per DOT rules.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Must be open to Saturdays and possibly Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers around Seattle warehouses using an Ottawa yard truck.
• Communicate with supervisors and staff over radio about trailer moves.
• Work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Promote safety and maintain a cooperative attitude.

Job Description

Schedule:

Full time, early morning start to early afternoon end.

The Role

You will be primarily responsible for moving trailers around our warehouses in SODO located at 4103 2nd Ave S and communicating with our supervisors and staff over radio about trailer moves.

• Accurately and safely maneuver trucks around our Seattle warehouses using an Ottawa yard truck
• Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively using radios
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Promote & maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented attitude with co-workers
• All other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• 23+ years or older, due to insurance requirements
• 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card
• Demonstrated ability to lift/ push/ pull 50+lbs. throughout the shift.
• Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Must be open to working Saturdays and possibly Sundays.
