Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-focused team in Albuquerque, NM. This role covers routes from Albuquerque to NE/AZ, averaging 3000+ miles per week and a compensation package reflecting on-duty time.

The driver will operate tractor trailers, manage weights and loading, and ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT rules. We offer reliable pay structures and a focus on safety and sustainability within a national network.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Operate tractor trailer units.
• Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of the units.
• Load and unload hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste; secure loads properly.
• Plate vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports.

Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Albuquerque, NM! This route runs from Albuquerque, NM to NE/AZ and averages 3000+ miles per week.

About The Role

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
