Responsibilities

• Operate manual transmission for heavy equipment.

• Complete equipment inspections and electronic logs per DOT.
• Understand cargo securement laws at federal and state levels.
• Read descriptions of mechanical problems and repairs.
• Read haul permits.
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks and follow Brandenburg safety policies.
• Ensure regular and predictable performance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

• Operation of manual transmission
• Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads
• Ability to complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations
• Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws
• Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs
• Experience with understanding/reading haul permits
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience:

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent; Valid Class 'A' CDL with doubles/triples endorsement required; Experience with jeeps & stinger trailers; 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience; Ability to meet all DOT Requirements;3 years of clean driving record
