Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co is seeking a Class A Lowboy Driver to haul heavy equipment across multiple states. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsements and 2+ years of lowboy experience.

You will perform safety inspections, operate manual transmissions, and maintain DOT-compliant logbooks and permits. The position involves high-precision load securement, daily inspections, and compliance with environmental and safety policies.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required and CDL Class A with doubles/triples endorsement.
• 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience and clean driving record.
• Ability to comply with DOT requirements and read/understand haul permits.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual transmission tractors on heavy equipment hauls.
• Haul heavy equipment or oversize loads in multiple states.
• Complete inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations.
• Read and describe mechanical problems and repairs for service records.
• Ensure safety and compliance with cargo securement laws.

Hourly Range: $39.02-$45.08 and benefit package per Collective Bargaining Agreement

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

• Operation of manual transmission


• Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads


• Ability to complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations


• Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws


• Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs


• Experience with understanding/reading haul permits


• Perform safety sensitive tasks


• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent; Valid Class 'A' CDL with doubles/triples endorsement required; Experience with jeeps & stinger trailers; 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience; Ability to meet all DOT Requirements;3 years of clean driving record
