Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Services Co is seeking a Class A Lowboy Driver to haul heavy equipment across multiple states and comply with DOT regulations. This role requires a valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsements and a strong safety record.

You will operate heavy-duty lowboys, perform equipment inspections, and ensure proper securement of loads while adhering to company safety policies and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement.
• 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Experience with jeeps & stinger trailers.
• 3 years of clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual transmission.
• Haul heavy equipment or oversize loads.
• Complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT.
• Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws.
• Read and describe mechanical problems and repairs.
• Read haul permits and ensure compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

• Operation of manual transmission


• Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads


• Ability to complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations


• Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws


• Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs


• Experience with understanding/reading haul permits


• Perform safety sensitive tasks


• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Education / Experience
