Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial SVC Co is seeking a Class A Lowboy Driver to haul heavy equipment across multiple states. You will operate manual transmission trucks, conduct equipment inspections, and maintain accurate DOT logs.

This full-time role requires a valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, 2 years lowboy experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet DOT requirements. Expect 95% travel.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment inspections and electronic DOT logbooks.
• Understand and apply federal/state cargo securement laws.
• Read/write descriptions of mechanical problems and repairs.
• Read haul permits and ensure compliance.
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks in compliance with company policies.
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies.
• Maintain regular and predictable performance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements

• Operation of manual transmission


• Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads


• Ability to complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations


• Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws


• Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs


• Experience with understanding/reading haul permits


• Perform safety sensitive tasks


• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies

Education / Experience

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent; Valid Class 'A' CDL with doubles/triples endorsement required; Experience with jeeps & stinger trailers; 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience; Ability to meet all DOT Requirements;3 years of clean driving record
