Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co. seeks a Class A Lowboy Driver to haul heavy equipment across multiple states on a full-time basis.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement, a clean DOT record, and willingness to travel up to 95% of the time, with an hourly wage between $39.02 and $45.08 as per the collective bargaining agreement. The driver will perform inspections, maintain electronic logs, ensure cargo securement per laws, and comply with safety and environmental

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement.
• Experience with lowboy/heavy haul is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate lowboy with manual transmission.
• Haul heavy equipment or oversize loads.
• Complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT requirements.
• Know and apply federal and state cargo securement laws.
• Read and describe mechanical problems and repairs.
• Interpret haul permits and documentation.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

• Operation of manual transmission
• Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads
• Ability to complete equipment inspections and electronic logbooks per DOT regulations
• Knowledge of federal and state cargo securement laws
• Ability to read and write description of mechanical problems and repairs
• Experience with understanding/reading haul permits
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience:

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or equivalent; Valid Class 'A' CDL with doubles/triples endorsement required; Experience with jeeps & stinger trailers; 2 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience; Ability to meet all DOT Requirements;3 years of clean driving record
