Job summary

Englefield, Inc. is seeking Class A CDL drivers to load, haul, and deliver petroleum products from Columbus, OH. You will operate company trucks, ensure safe handling, and serve as a brand ambassador through professional customer care.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining accurate delivery records, and performing vehicle inspections daily. Candidates should have high school diploma or GED and driving school completed; Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• CDL A required, unencumbered license.
• Tank vehicle experience preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them.
• Must meet DOT safety requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to deliver and pick up products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure safe delivery.
• Verify order accuracy during loading/unloading and maintain records.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.

In this role, you’ll load, haul, and deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently—all while being part of a company that truly values its drivers.

What You’ll Do

Drive Company Trucks to deliver and pick up products as needed.

Act as a Brand Ambassador by delivering exceptional customer care through service, safe delivery, and product education.

Confirm Order Accuracy by loading and unloading trucks, recording inventory, and managing deliveries.

Perform Vehicle Assessments at the start and end of each shift, documenting mechanical or performance issues and reporting them as required.

Prioritize Safety by adhering to DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements at all times.

Maneuver Trucks Safely into loading and unloading positions, follow signals from the loading crew, and verify that vehicles and equipment are properly secured.

Assist Customers Professionally by helping resolve complaints and escalating issues to management when necessary.

Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling up to and over 40 pounds, bending, stooping, standing, climbing, sitting for extended periods of time, exposure to fuel, heat and cold.

What We’re Looking For

Education - High school diploma or GED and driving school completed.

CDL - Must hold Class A certification, unencumbered driver license.

Experience - CDL A driving experience required, Tanker Experience Preferred

Endorsements - Have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or be willing to obtain them.
