Class A End Dump Driver - County Ready Mix Corporation (Transportation)

We are seeking a Dump Truck Driver for our customer, County Materials. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.

About the position:

• Competitive hourly pay
• Drive Quad Axle Dump Truck hauling both intercompany and to work sites daily

Job Duties:

• Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients
• Perform daily preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and ensure good operating condition of assigned truck
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices
• Confirm cargo and delivery destination, and ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant
• Ensure accurate placement of cargo
• Transport product while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and establishing routes
• Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE
• Unload transported material using approved methods
• Maintain communication with dispatcher
• Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner

Work Environment:

• Working in outdoor weather conditions
• Working near moving machinery and equipment
• Working alongside moving traffic on roads

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing
• Squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending
• Pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Class B or A CDL prior to hire
• Maintain an active DOT qualification
• Minimum 2 years prior driving experience required
• Ability to perform well in a team environment
• Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate client needs
• Prior end loader experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
