Class A End Dump Driver - County Ready Mix Corporation (Transportation)

We are seeking a Dump Truck Driver for our customer, County Materials. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.
About the position:
- Competitive hourly pay
- Drive Quad Axle Dump Truck hauling both intercompany and to work sites daily

- Training in Dump Truck procedures is available
Job Duties:
- Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients
- Perform daily preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and ensure good operating condition of assigned truck
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices
- Confirm cargo and delivery destination, and ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant
- Ensure accurate placement of cargo
- Transport product while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and establishing routes
- Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE
- Unload transported material using approved methods
- Maintain communication with dispatcher
- Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner
Work Environment:
- Working in outdoor weather conditions
- Working near moving machinery and equipment
- Working alongside moving traffic on roads
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing
- Squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending
- Pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Class B or A CDL prior to hire
- Maintain an active DOT qualification
- Minimum 2 years prior driving experience required
- Ability to perform well in a team environment
- Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate client needs
- Prior end loader experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
