Class A End Dump Driver - County Ready Mix Corporation (Transportation)

We are seeking a Dump Truck Driver for our customer, County Materials. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.

About the position:

• Competitive hourly pay
• Drive Quad Axle Dump Truck hauling both intercompany and to work sites daily

• Training in Dump Truck procedures is available

Job Duties:

• Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients
• Perform daily preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and ensure good operating condition for assigned truck
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices
• Confirm cargo and delivery destination, and all delivery tickets are signed and returned to plant
• Ensure accurate placement of cargo
• Transport product while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and establishing routes
• Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE
• Unload transported material utilizing approved methods
• Communicate consistently with dispatcher
• Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner

Work Environment:

Outdoor weather conditions, working near moving machinery and equipment, alongside moving traffic on roads.

Physical Requirements:

Climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL prior to hire
• Active DOT qualification
• Minimum 2 years prior driving experience
• Ability to perform well in a team environment
• Self-motivated and flexible to client needs
• Prior end loader experience is a plus but not required; training available
