Job summary

Performance Food Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Trainer/Supervisor for Class A Drivers on our Transportation Team. You will train and supervise drivers, ensure DOT compliance, and support safe, on-time deliveries from our OpCo operations.

Hours are 2:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers growth opportunities, competitive benefits from Day 1, and a collaborative team environment focused on safe, efficient transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in training, transportation, or related field with knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.
• Must hold a Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training for drivers and monitor performance to meet service times and costs.
• Supervise staffing, coaching, and issue resolution within DOT and OpCo guidelines.
• Assist Transportation Manager with daily transportation administration and driver payroll/reports.
• Ensure safety through training and monitoring vehicle use, ramps, belts, and lifting practices.
• Assist new driver hires and existing drivers with classroom/field training and documentation.
