Bunzl Minneapolis in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for a Monday–Friday schedule, paying $32.21 per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus. The role is on-site, full-time, delivering to customer locations and performing pre-trip inspections.

You must have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, DOT/ELD knowledge, and pass background checks. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a Class A tractor-trailer or other CMV.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver goods local and long-distance.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regs, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure secure items.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and report issues to management.

Class A CDL Driver | Monday-Friday | $32.21/hr. | Occasional Overnights-hotel stay including $50.00 per diem each day on the road

The Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
