Job summary

Bunzl Minneapolis is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for a Monday–Friday, on-site role with a $1500 sign-on bonus and pay at $32.21 per hour. You will safely operate a tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and deliver to local and long-distance customer locations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds and loading/unloading.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Able to pass background checks, drug tests and maintain medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

Class A CDL Driver | Monday-Friday | $32.21/hr. | Occasional Overnights-hotel stay including $50.00 per diem each day on the road

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
