Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to work Monday–Friday, with occasional overnights and hotel stays. Earn $32.21/hr plus a per diem of $50 per day on the road. You will safely drive, inspect, and deliver goods to local and long-distance locations while maintaining logs and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
