Job summary

Bunzl Distribution is seeking Drivers in Missouri to join a team that serves as the heart of our business, acting as ambassadors and primary customer contacts. Start time is 3am with a pay rate of $27.50 per hour and weekly pay. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Duties include safely operating Class A equipment, inspecting vehicles, delivering goods locally and long-distance, and maintaining logs. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 30

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate commercial vehicles.
• Lift up to 30 pounds; perform loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Know DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicle.

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.

What We Prefer

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
