Job summary

R Construction is seeking a dependable Class A Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator (Yard & Field Hybrid) to support field operations and yard management. This role requires transporting equipment and materials, assisting job sites, and maintaining an organized yard.

The position is safety‑driven and hands‑on, with responsibilities including DVIR inspections, equipment hauling, water truck operations, and yard upkeep. You will work independently and as part of the team across yard and field tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card are required.
• Experience operating multiple trailer types (lowboy, end dump, transfer, utility).
• Ability to operate manual transmissions preferred.
• Strong knowledge of equipment hauling and cargo securement.
• Familiarity with construction materials and job-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
• Support field operations and yard management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard.
• Perform DVIR inspections and minor equipment maintenance.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and daily dispatch.
