Slaymaker Rentals is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Driver/Yard Technician in Ohio to safely transport and deliver rental equipment. The role splits 50/50 between driving and yard duties, with a focus on safety and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, performing inspections, cleaning and prepping gear, organizing the yard, and assisting customers with pickups and returns.

This dual-role position is responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and picking up rental equipment while supporting daily yard operations. The employee will split their time approximately 50% as a CDL Class A Driver and 50% as a Yard Technician. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, performing equipment inspections, cleaning and preparing rental equipment, organizing the yard, and assisting customers with equipment pickups and returns. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, teamwork, and providing excellent customer service

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up a variety of rental equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer locations
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company safety standards
• Navigate a variety of environments including residential, commercial, and construction job sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Verify delivery and pick-up details and obtain required documentation or customer signatures
• Inspect, load, and unload machines in accordance with company safety standards
• Transport equipment throughout the yard, including to and from the wash area, the shop, and designated storage locations
• Clean rental, sales, and service equipment with high powered pressure wash system
• Assist with refueling equipment
• Safely dispense propane following completion of training and certification
