MOHR Talent in Middletown, OH is seeking CDL-A drivers for a local driving role that keeps you home daily. This full-time position offers a stable first shift starting around 6:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed and no OTR.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• About 2+ years of CDL driving experience preferred.

• Roll-off/rollback/dump truck or recycling hauling experience is a plus.
• 10-speed/manual transmission experience preferred.
• Able to meet DOT physical and drug-screening requirements.
• Safety-focused in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Middletown, OH | Full-Time | Local Driving | Home Daily

We are hiring CDL-A Drivers to join a growing recycling and metals operation based in Middletown, OH. This is a local driving opportunity - no OTR - with a stable first-shift schedule, strong earning potential, and full benefits.

Drivers primarily transport shredded and unshredded metal materials using straight trucks, rollbacks, roll-off trucks, and similar commercial equipment.

Pay & Schedule

• $22-$25/hour
• Additional $1/hour incentive for perfect attendance and safety
• Additional $150/week load-count incentive
• Monday-Friday
• First shift starting around 6:00 AM
• Some schedule flexibility and weekends as needed
• Home daily / No OTR

What You'll Do

• Safely operate CDL-A commercial vehicles, including roll-off and rollback equipment
• Transport metal materials between designated locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain electronic logs and use dispatch software
• Secure loads and ensure safe transportation of materials
• Follow DOT, hours-of-service, and company safety requirements
• Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding routes, deliveries, and vehicle concerns

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A
• Approximately 2+ years of CDL driving experience preferred
• Clean driving record with no major accidents or serious violations
• Roll-off, rollback, dump truck, waste, recycling, scrap, or similar hauling experience is a plus
• 10-speed/manual transmission experience preferred
• Ability to meet DOT physical and drug-screening requirements
