Job summary

Capital Reyes Distributing in Texas is seeking a Class A Driver to unload and deliver products daily, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and safely operate conveyors and carts. You will also handle pallet jacks and paper work for deliveries and returns.

Starting pay is $65,000 during training; after training (30–90 days) annual salary ranges from $72,000 to $100,000 depending on route. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401k.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1+ year of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A CDL.
• Must be able to lift products regularly from 25 to 50 pounds and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• The Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to customers and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
• Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and professionally including conveyors and carts.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Pick up returned products including payments and pallets and complete delivery and pickup paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Shift: Monday – Friday, weekends & holidays off
• Pay: Starting rate of $65,000 during training. After training (30-90 days), annual salary will range from $72,000 to $100,000 (dependent on route)
• Routes: Home daily with local routes
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Must have at least 1 year of recent CDL Class A driving experience

Position responsibilities:

• The Class A Driver is r esponsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• As a Class A Driver, you must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
• You will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Additionally, you will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must possess a Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
