Job summary

Brandt Excavating in Martell, NE is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to transport materials and equipment to job sites, conduct vehicle inspections, and maintain DOT‑compliant documentation. Must have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and a current Medical Card.

The role requires safe driving habits, professional conduct, and the ability to communicate with supervisors and project teams about delivery status. Work location is in person at the Martell/near Lincoln area.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Must maintain a current Medical Card.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations safely and efficiently.
• Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs, trip reports and essential documentation.
• Follow routes and schedules while adapting to job-site needs.
• Communicate with supervisors and project teams about delivery status.
• Report defects, accidents and violations and keep vehicles in good condition.
