Job summary

Brandt Excavating in Martell, NE (15 miles southwest of Lincoln) is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to ensure safe, efficient transport of materials and equipment to job sites. You’ll perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, keep DOT‑compliant documentation, and communicate delivery status to supervisors and project teams.

Requirements include a valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record, knowledge of DOT regulations, a current Medical Card, and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Must maintain a current Medical Card.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy materials.
• Ability to work after hours or overtime if required.
• Endorsements for hazardous material or oversized loads if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in DOT compliance.
• Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report promptly.
• Maintain Logs, trip reports and all required documentation.
• Follow routes and schedules while adapting to site needs.
• Communicate with supervisors and project teams to receive instructions.
• Report defects, accidents and/or violations.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working conditions.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Handle unexpected situations including road hazards.
• Uphold company safety standards and participate in training.

We’relooking for a CDL Truck Driver who can help keep our jobs running smoothly each day at our Martell, NE location, 15 miles southwest of Lincoln.You’llhandle the safe, efficient transport of materials and equipment to job sites, perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, keepDOT‑compliantdocumentation, and stay in touch with supervisors and project teams about delivery status.You’llneed a valid CDL, safe‑drivinghabits, and a professional attitude whilerepresentingthe company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

• Transport materials, equipment, and supplies todesignatedlocations safely and efficiently.

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report any issues promptly.

• MaintainaccurateLogs, tripreportsand all required documentation.

• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to changing job-site needs.

• Communicate with supervisors, projectmanagersand site personnel to receiveclearinstruction.

• Report defects,accidentsand/or violations.

• Create an open and positive relationship with other drivers and vendors.

• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working conditions.

• Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.

• Ability to handle unexpectedsituationsincluding road hazards.

• Uphold company safety standards andparticipatein required training.

Job Requirements:
