Job summary

Radius Recycling in Reno, NV seeks a Class A CDL Driver to transport equipment and materials to production sites and customers, while adhering to DOT, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and company policies.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, secure loads, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation. The role requires safe, efficient operation and active participation in yard support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• At least 24 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last five years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years and no more than one preventable accident in the last three years.
• Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to use automated dispatch/logging systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer or truck with 26,000 GVW to transport equipment to supplier, customer, storage, or processing locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs per state and federal regulations.
• Secure materials for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, or covers and coordinate with dispatch for delivery.
• Provide backup support in the yard and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch, obtain receipts or signatures, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
