Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Portland, OR, reporting to the Facilities & Operations Supervisor. You will operate tractor-trailer combinations and trucks with at least 26,000 GVW to transport equipment and materials while complying with H&S standards and DOT regulations.

The role emphasizes safe loading/unloading, route navigation, and maintaining accurate logs. Occasional non-supervisory yard support and flexibility for extra hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT regulations knowledge.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ability to navigate routes and operate loading/unloading equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and materials to and from production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and follow signals from loading crew.
• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.
• Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed.
