Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate and ability to renew.
• Must be registered in FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• 24 months verifiable Class A driving in last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in 3 years.
• Ability to use automated logs and dispatch systems.
• PSP must reflect acceptable safety record.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers by hand or using trucks and other equipment.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions, follow signals, ensure proper positioning.
• Secure material for transport using ropes, blocks, and covers.
• Receive dispatch instructions and proceed to delivery/receipt locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain logs of hours, vehicle service, and repairs per regulations.
• Obtain receipts/signatures for delivered materials and verify documentation.
• Provide backup or yard assistance as needed.
