Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Company-Driver to deliver freight between distribution centers, stores, and vendors. You will haul and unload multi‑stop freight, return empty rolltainers, and ensure on‑time, safe deliveries across interstate routes.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL, be able to travel overnight, and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations. The role requires lifting, manual handling, and the ability to work in varying weather while maintaining customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Meet medical and safety standards required by the DOT.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between distribution centers, stores, and vendors in a safe, timely manner.
• Unload/load freight and rolltainers at each delivery.
• Provide professional customer service to store teams and distribution staff.
• Complete paperwork and maintain regulatory records.
• Ensure vehicle operation complies with state and federal laws.
