Dollar General is seeking a Company-Driver responsible for on-time freight delivery between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. You will haul and unload multi-stop freight to stores and return rolltainers to the distribution center, while safely operating the vehicle on interstate and intrastate routes.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), a valid Class A CDL, and at least six months of tractor-trailer driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Six months tractor/trailer driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Medical and safety standards as required by DOT.

Responsabilités

• Transport store-delivery freight and returns to Dollar General stores in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Unload and reload freight and rolltainers at each delivery stop.
• Provide professional customer service to store teams, backhaul vendors, and distribution employees.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensure operation of the vehicle is in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
