Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Company-Driver responsible for on-time delivery of freight between distribution centers, stores, and vendors, hauling and unloading multi-stop freight and returning rolltainers as required. The role requires routine overnight travel, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, enter/exit the cab frequently, and safe operation under DOT/state regulations.

High school diploma or equivalent and a valid Class A CDL are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport store-delivery freight and returns over-the-road safely and efficiently.
• Unload/reload freight and rolltainers at each delivery.
• Provide professional customer service to stores, vendors, and distribution staff.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records per state and federal laws.
• Ensure vehicle operation complies with regulations.
