Dayton Freight Lines is seeking Transportation Drivers to haul freight between our Service Centers. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, load/unload freight, and maintain a clean vehicle while following safety procedures. Expect irregular schedules and potential long trips, with competitive mileage pay.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI, Citation/Conviction for Reckless Operations in the past 3 years.
• Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• At least 18 months of commercial driving experience.
• Age at least 23 years.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre and post trip inspections on tractor/trailer.
• Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle.
• Interact with internal customers.
• Safely operate a forklift to unload/load products when indicated.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, extended trips away from domiciled Service Center, alternating shifts and assignments.
• Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines.
