Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking full-time Transportation/Linehaul Drivers. Starting pay is $0.84 per mile with an average weekly pay of around $2,300, reflecting a stable, growing organization with new equipment and clean facilities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with HazMat and Tank endorsements.
• 2+ years commercial driving experience.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI or Reckless operation convictions in the past 3 years.
• Legal to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload freight between Service Centers in a productive, safe, and claims-free manner.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections on tractor/trailer.
• Affix placards and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Interact with internal customers and, when needed, operate a forklift to load/unload freight.
• Be available for irregular schedules, extended trips away from domicile, and alternate shifts.
