Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking qualified Transportation/Linehaul Drivers in the United States. The role offers full-time employment with competitive mileage pay starting at $0.84 per mile and an average weekly pay around $2,300.

Responsibilities include transporting freight safely between service centers, inspections, and operating forklifts when needed. A valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tank endorsements is required, along with a clean driving record and ability to work irregular

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tank endorsements.
• Valid DOT physical/medical card is required.
• No DUI or reckless driving convictions in the past 3 years.
• Must be fluent in English and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to transport freight between service centers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Affix placards as required and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Interact with internal customers and coordinate with hubs.
• Safely load/unload freight and operate a forklift when needed.
• Be available for irregular schedules and extended trips.
