Job summary

Kemps Minneapolis is seeking dependable CDL-A Vacation Relief Drivers to operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver dairy products on assigned routes. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

You will work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends and holidays, and enjoy union benefits, paid vacation and holidays, uniforms provided, and a route that keeps you home

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• 21+ years of age.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to deliver dairy products on assigned routes.
• Manually unload/deliver to customer locations.
• Build relationships with customers and meet their needs and expectations.
• Maintain safe driving and on-time delivery.

Pay starting at $35.70

SCHEDULE: Cover vacation days or special delivery routes when needed.

(Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, weekends and holidays)

JOB SUMMARY

Due to upcoming retirements Kemps Minneapolis has job openings for dependable CDL-A Vacation Relief Drivers to operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year related experience preferred
• Valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, weekends and holidays
