Overview

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. We operate with 200 company drivers who keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Our fleet includes safe Volvo tractors equipped with modern features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team committed to getting things done together.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomic seats, perfect steering position, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, auxiliary power units with manual power inverter (3500W), dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair facility, and wash bay.

Pay

- Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays for detention, layover, and other factors. Average weekly pay is between $2600 and $3200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No holdbacks.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and receive up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and can accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% drop and hook. The rest are 1 pick-1 drop loads. We primarily run dry van and reefer trailers, avoiding NY City, ports, and borders. Most freight is in the US middle corridor, with routes on major highways, mostly contracted freight, and no dedicated routes.

Rider & Canine Policies

- Riders: 1 passenger, 12 years or older, available from day 1.

- Canine: $500 fee per pet, with 2 small or 1 large dog allowed. Deduction of $100/week until paid. Policy non-refundable after placement. No policies for cats, reptiles, or birds.
