Job summary

Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of trucks and equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role includes driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites with potential emergency response.

The position typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule with early starts and overtime after 40 hours. Two-week Academy training out of state is provided and expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
• Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards (29 CFR 1910.34).

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks and load/unload as needed.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Follow DOT, local and federal regulations and company safety policies.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis and travel for site remediation as required.
