Job summary

Clean Harbors in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. You will drive and perform non-driving duties on and off site.

The role requires Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, typically a Monday–Friday schedule with a 6 am start, and 8–10 hour days. Availability for emergency responses may involve out-of-town assignments with hotel and per diem provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical as required by position.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks (vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers, roll offs).
• Load and unload trucks; perform manual labor on site as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and reports; ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Be available for emergency response on rotating basis; may require travel out of town.
