Job summary

CTDI is seeking a professional Driver with a Class A CDL to operate commercial vehicles in support of national wireless/telecom, high-speed internet and cable providers. You will inspect, load, and deliver cargo, maintain logs, and ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements include a CDL Class A, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, and a minimum of 2 years of delivery driving with a clean driving record. Expect flexible shifts and weekly pay; CTDI offers robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a CDL Class A and endorsements.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card and maintain driver qualification file.
• Minimum 2 years of recent commercial delivery driving.
• Valid state license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrates reliability, adaptability and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Completes vehicle inspection sheets, fuel logs, daily logs, bills of lading, trip records and expense reports.
• Ensures cargo is loaded, checked, and secured during transit.
• Assists with loading/unloading to ensure secure transit.
• Obtains signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors truck maintenance and repair.
• Delivers excellent customer service and represents CTDI positively.
• Complies with Federal/State DOT and warehouse safety regulations.
