Job summary

Shift

Flexible shifts with the capability to undertake overnight trips 1–2 nights per week.

Pay

Weekly pay every Thursday.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect the truck pre‑ and post‑trip.
• Complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports accurately.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assist with or oversee loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Obtain all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitor the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
• Follow all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card and maintain a complete U.S. DOT driver qualification file.
• At least 2 years of recent commercial delivery‑driving experience.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand‑eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (e.g., testing and repair), or forward logistics operation.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Specialized skills for managing hazardous materials.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 85 lbs, if necessary.
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods.
