Job summary

CTDI is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver for local and regional deliveries. The role emphasizes safe operation, accurate documentation, and professional customer interaction throughout the shift.

Primary responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, cargo loading and securing, and adherence to DOT regulations. The position offers a first shift with set hours and a comprehensive benefits package as listed in the job posting.

Qualifications

• Requires a commercial driver's license (Class B CDL) and appropriate endorsements.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card and maintain driver qualification file.
• 2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
