Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Delivery Driver with a Class A CDL to transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will load, secure, and unload goods, verify orders, and maintain accurate logs while providing professional service.

The role requires 1+ year of CDL delivery experience, strong math and English skills, and a focus on safety. You will operate forklifts as needed and adhere to DVIR/HOS regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to load and secure products safely for transport.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read invoices and logs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload as needed.
• Maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions and secure load.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, mileage, and locations.
• Serve as customer liaison and resolve issues when they arise.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform routine safety checks.
• Utilize handheld devices to ensure compliance with DVIR/HOS.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and manage DOT paperwork.
• May assist with credit/product returns and related paperwork.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
