Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites in a safe and timely manner. You will load, unload, and assist with handling materials while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and the ability to read and speak English. Strong math and measurement skills and reliability are essential for success in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license and a Class A CDL license.
• Pass MVR report.
• Obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math & measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified delivery sites and assist unloading.
• Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries (weights, miles, locations).
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Use handheld devices for DVIR and HOS (driving exempt).
• Maintain hours of service logs and pre/post trip inspections.
• May perform credit/product return pickups and related paperwork.
• Operate forklift or non-motorized handling equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
