Metro Park Warehouses, LLC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for local and regional routes in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role offers home every night with scheduled routes and guaranteed hours.

You will drive trucks over 26,000 lbs GVW, secure loads, and maintain logs while staying compliant with DOT regulations. The position requires a valid Class A license, 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks over 26,000 lbs GVW.
• Pull tow vehicle weight over 10,000 lbs.
• Attach trailer kingpin securely to the tractor.
• Transport goods origin to destination.
• Ensure contents are secured inside the truck.
• Obtain signatures or warehouse BOL for deliveries.
• Stay on route and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicle clean and maintained.
• Log driving and delivery hours; comply with DOT rules.

METRO PARK WAREHOUSES, LLC

We are looking for a Class A CDL Driver experienced to join our team at Metro Park Warehouses. We are seeking a Class A truck driver who has physical and mental stamina who thrives working up to 12 hours locally and can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. The driver mustbe detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

Pay: $28.25 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive trucks with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
• Pull a towed vehicle weight exceeding 10,000 lbs.
• Ensure trailer kingpin is properly and securely attached to the tractor unit
• Transport goods from the place of origin to assigned destination
• Ensure contents are properly secured inside of the truck to prevent breakage or damage
• Obtain signatures or warehouse BOL to confirm and complete deliveries with customers
• Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Perform pre trip and post trip inspections of your vehicle
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
• Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, check oil, tire pressure, etc.)
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
• Track and report working hours
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
• Comply with DOT regulation
