Velocity TruckingPros LLC in Scranton is seeking a Regional CDL-A Retail Driver for a home-weekly schedule on a dedicated regional account. Trainees are welcome; this role requires physical stamina and the ability to unload loads.

You will earn a weekly gross target of $1,600–$1,900 with around 1,000 miles per week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match after 60 days, safety incentives, and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Active CDL-A license required, must be 21+ years old.
• 6+ months OTR in past year, or 12 months in past 5 years (local Class A counts).

• Max 4 jobs in last 12 months; no major preventable accidents in past 5 years.
• Not SAP Friendly.

Responsibilities

• Drive a regional loop with home weekly on a 34-hour restart.
• Unload trailer labor (~5,000+ pieces per load) and perform heavy lifting (50–75 lbs).
• Flex shifts include day and night driving; weekends and holidays may be required.

This is a physical, high-stamina position, but the weekly gross earnings match the effort. You get a regular regional loop, heavy workout on the unload, and guaranteed weekly home time.

Money & Physical Expectations

Weekly Target: Earn a gross average of $1,600 to $1,900 per week.

Weekly Mileage: Low-mileage, high-pay account averaging around 1,000 miles per week.

Unload Labor: High physical activity, you'll manage manual trailer unloads (~5,000+ pieces per load) and must be capable of lifting 50–75 lbs safely.

Schedule & Home Time

Home Time: Home weekly for a solid 34-hour restart.

Shift Window: 24/7 account requiring flexibility for day or night driving (involves frequent night runs and tight backing).

Weekends & Holidays: Weekend work is standard, but you get Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day guaranteed off with zero dispatches.

Requirements to Qualify

Age: Must be 21 or older with an active CDL-A.

Experience Tiers

Trainees: Accepted! Valid CDL-A required (0 months experience fine).

Experienced: Need 6+ months OTR in the past year, OR 12 months in the past 5 years (local Class A experience counts).

Medical & Screening: Must pass a new DOT physical, plus mandatory urine and hair drug tests.

Record: Max 4 jobs in the last 12 months; no major preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
