Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cleveland is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with primary duties in hazardous waste cleanup. You will work on-site, ensure safety, load and unload, and comply with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to use mobile devices on site.
• Able to perform physical labor and heavy lifting.
• Background check, drug test and medical requirements as applicable.
• Follows OSHA and DOT safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks to support customer sites.
• Load/unload trucks and perform on-site duties.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, state and federal rules.
• Support field laborers as needed.
• On-call for emergency response on rotation.
• Handle hazardous materials and site remediation as required.
