Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cleveland is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with duties on and off site in hazardous waste clean-up.

You will work in a safety-first environment with strong health benefits and opportunity for growth. Pay range is $27.00–$29.00 per hour, with benefits after 30 days and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical exam.
• Comply with respirator facial hair standards per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow DOT, state, and federal regulations.
• Observe safety guidelines and company policies.
• On-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
