Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events in San Diego, CA is hiring a Delivery Driver to load, deliver, and install furniture for tradeshow and event venues. The role involves driving, on-site installation, and customer service with occasional travel and training in Anaheim. Weekend work is required and compensation is $28 per hour.

Eligible candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, pass FMCSA checks, and be willing to travel for training and events. Comprehensive benefits follow probationary periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A driver’s license in the state of residency.
• Minimum 3 months experience driving tractor-trailers; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture and lift 100+ lbs with a partner.
• Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations and English proficiency.
• Maintain a DOT Medical certificate, pass physical and drug screening.
• Pass road test per company/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and load furniture safely for transport.
• Attend pre-delivery meetings to review logistics and client expectations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; keep trucks clean.
• Drive tractors, box trucks, or sprinter vans on delivery routes.
• Install and assemble furniture per floor plans and instructions.
• Inspect items for damage and ensure no product is left behind.
• Provide onsite customer service and address client questions.
• Supervise temporary labor and instruct on delivery duties.
• Perform warehouse tasks as needed, including pallet handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
