Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events is hiring Class A CDL drivers in Secaucus, NJ to load, deliver, and install furniture at events. You will work with the operations team to ensure on-time setup and excellent client service.

The role requires a valid CDL, 3+ months experience, ability to lift heavy furniture, and compliance with FMCSA rules. Compensation starts at $30 per hour with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL in resident state.
• 3+ months tractor-trailer driving experience; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture and lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Able to comply with FMCSA regulations and pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and install furniture at tradeshow venues.
• Attend pre-delivery meetings and coordinate with operations.
• Perform pre/post-trip truck inspections and log records.
• Drive tractor-trailers, box trucks, or sprinter vans on routes.
• Deliver and assemble furniture per floor plans; document via app.
• Inspect and load/unload; ensure nothing is left behind.
• Provide onsite customer service and address questions.
• Supervise temporary labor and ensure safety.
• Support warehouse duties as needed.

Skills

Valid Class A CDL

English reading/writing

3+ months tractor-trailer experience

Lift 100+ pounds safely

DOT medical certification

Able to pass FMCSA road test
