Job summary

Buy Sod is hiring a Full Time Class A CDL Driver at our Mooresville, NC location. You will operate commercial vehicles, conduct inspections, load/unload sod, and maintain delivery records while ensuring compliant, on-time deliveries with excellent customer service.

Qualifications include a valid Class A endorsement and DOT medical certification; flatbed experience and forklift familiarity are a plus; a clean driving record; and willingness to travel/overnight as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Endorsement and DOT Medical Certification.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• The use of your personal cell phone is required for this position and will be partially reimbursed on a stipend basis.
• Ability to accommodate occasional extended routes and/or overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and in full compliance with all company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation.
• Safely transport, load, and unload sod while verifying weight limits.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Provide excellent customer service with delivery updates and signatures.
• Participate in safety trainings and report delays or issues promptly.
