Job summary

Super-Sod in Simpsonville, SC is hiring Class A CDL drivers to join a team delivering seed, sod and soil products regionally. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and customer service in a fast-paced shipping environment.

You will operate company trucks, perform pre/post-trip checks, load/unload, and comply with DOT/OSHA requirements while supporting ongoing operations with reliability and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• 2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving.
• Clean driving record with no major violations within the past 3 years.
• Must possess valid Class A CDL and Medical Card, including multi-state certification.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work long shifts and in varying weather conditions.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
• Deliver, pickup and relocate farm products and materials.
• Perform required before/during/after-operation maintenance reports and checks.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
• Operate all material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain and update DOT and OSHA certifications and safety programs.
• Protect and maintain company property in good condition.
• Support and improve overall team operations.
