Job summary

SodStar is seeking a dedicated Full Time Class A CDL Driver for our Murfreesboro, TN location. You will operate heavy vehicles, inspect and maintain equipment, and deliver sod to customers while ensuring on-time, safe deliveries.

You will communicate delivery updates, manage paperwork, and uphold safety standards through inspections and training. A clean driving record and endorsements are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A endorsement and DOT Medical Certification.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Previous forklift operation experience preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Using your personal cell phone is required and will be partially reimbursed.
• Ability to accommodate occasional extended routes and overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and maintenance, and keep required documentation.
• Transport, load, secure, and deliver sod while observing weight limits and logistics.
• Maintain accurate logs, receipts, and delivery status updates.
• Provide exceptional customer service with delivery updates and signatures.
• Support safety standards by participating in inspections and trainings.
