Okie Staffing is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Sod Delivery Driver to transport and deliver sod to job sites and customers in Oklahoma. This hands-on role includes loading, securing loads, and unloading, with regional travel and home time most of the time.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience, a clean MVR, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Sod Delivery Driver to transport and deliver sod to job sites and customers. This role requires hands-on work, including securing loads and assisting with unloading. Ideal candidates will have strong driving experience, a clean record, and a willingness to work in a physically active environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Hours may vary day to day based on multiple factors
• Regional travel - home 99% of the time with exception of rare out-of-town projects
• Will operate a Flatbed

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport sod to customer locations
• Load, secure, strap, and unstrap sod loads for transport
• Deliver materials to residential, commercial, and job site locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Assist with yard duties and equipment operation as needed

• Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a front-end loader
• Previous experience delivering sod, landscaping materials, or construction supplies
• Familiarity with local routes and job site deliveries

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently strap and unstrap loads
• Must be able to lift, bend, and work in outdoor environments
• Capable of working in varying weather conditions

Hourly Pay based on performance and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21 to $24 per hour DOE w/ time & a half after 40 (overtime will be required)
